Fani Skordaki completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at EUC (European University Cyprus), where she excelled academically, earning three distinctions for her performance. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health from the School of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has also been training in Systemic Psychotherapy and Counseling at KESMETH Institute (Institute of Psychotherapy – Center for Systemic Study and Therapy) in Athens, which is accredited by the E.F.T.A. (European Family Therapy Association) and the EAP (Hellenic Psychotherapy Association). As a psychologist, she approaches therapy as a dynamic and interactive process. She does not merely focus on symptoms but on the stories of individuals striving to find balance in their lives. Her expertise lies in Systemic Psychotherapy, which goes beyond understanding the individual to mapping how their environment influences their mental health. She views each person as part of a broader system that includes family, social relationships, work, and all other aspects of life with which they interact and evolve. Her extensive engagement with complex human experiences has led her to develop a flexible therapeutic approach that considers each individual's unique characteristics and personal narratives. Since 2022, she has been working at the "Melima" Center for Specialized Therapies, providing psychological support and personalized interventions for children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Additionally, she has worked at the Educational and Counseling Support Center (K.E.S.Y.) and has been actively involved in volunteer work at the Creative Learning Center (KDAP) "Paideia en Drasi." Her ongoing professional development—through literature, seminars, and conferences—continues to enrich her experience and scientific knowledge. For Fani Skordaki, therapy is not just about addressing symptoms. She emphasizes a holistic approach, utilizing modern scientific methods to create an environment of empathy, understanding, and security. Her goal is to empower individuals to take an active role in their lives, develop self-awareness, and mobilize their psychological and intellectual resources so that personal growth and emotional balance can flourish.
